Refunds & Returns Policy

At Scrappingclearly, we want you to enjoy your creative purchases. If something isn’t right with your order, please contact us at info@scrappingclearly.com.au so we can help.

This policy covers our physical products, creative kits, digital downloads and classes.

Your consumer rights

Our products and services come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by this policy.

For a major problem with a product, you can choose a refund or replacement. For a minor problem, we will provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time. If we cannot resolve it within that time, you may be entitled to further remedies.

Consumer guarantees apply to sale and clearance purchases too. 

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your purchase arrives damaged, is faulty, does not match its description, or we have sent the wrong item, please email us as soon as reasonably possible with:

● Your order number or other proof of purchase.

● A description of the problem.

● Clear photographs, where possible.

Please keep the item and any packaging available while we assess the issue. 

All orders are sent in a gold waterproof mailerAn mailer and are in perfect condition when leaving the Scrappingclearly store.

We will explain the next steps and arrange an appropriate remedy. Where a return is required for a confirmed fault, damage or our packing error, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.

Change of mind

Please choose carefully. We do not automatically offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind, order the wrong product or no longer need an item.

Any return we agree to accept must be unused, unopened where applicable, complete and in its original saleable condition and packaging.

For an agreed change-of-mind return, you are responsible for return postage, and the original delivery charge is not refundable.

These conditions do not apply to claims under Australian Consumer Law.

Digital downloads and online classes

Please read the product description carefully before purchasing downloadable artwork, printable sheets, instructions or online class access.

We do not offer change-of-mind refunds once digital files or class access have been supplied. If a file is faulty, the wrong download has been supplied, or you cannot access the content promised in the listing, please contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.

Your consumer rights continue to apply to digital purchases and online classes.

Workshops, Retreats and event bookings

Cancellation, transfer and deposit conditions for workshops, retreats and events will be stated on the individual booking page before purchase.

If you cannot attend, please contact us promptly to discuss the options available under those conditions.

If Scrappingclearly cancels an event, we will offer a refund of the booking fees paid to us or an alternative you agree to accept. Booking conditions do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Handmade, vintage and upcycled items

Some Scrappingclearly products are handmade, vintage or upcycled. Individual variations and signs of age or previous use may form part of their character and will be described or shown in the listing where relevant.

Disclosed characteristics are considered when assessing an item’s condition. You retain your consumer rights if an item has an undisclosed fault or differs materially from its description.

Gift cards

Gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash simply because you change your mind, except where required by law.

Returning an item

Please contact us before posting an item back so we can provide the correct return address and instructions.

Package returns securely. We recommend using a tracked postal service and keeping your postage receipt.

Refund processing

Once we have assessed your request, we will let you know the outcome and any return arrangements.

Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available. If a refund has not arrived within the timeframe we advise, please contact us.
